Quick answers

How many naps should my baby take?
It changes with age — from 4 to 5 naps as a young infant down to 1 nap by the toddler years. Follow sleepy cues over the clock.
What is a good bedtime?
From around 3 to 4 months, many babies do well with a bedtime in the 7 to 8 p.m. range. An overtired baby often needs an earlier bedtime, not a later one.
Can an app build the schedule for me?
Yes. ParentFlow’s sleep schedule generator suggests naps and bedtime from your baby’s age and wake-up time, free.
